The vacheronconstantin Overseas is the brand's contemporary proposition for an elegant sport watch. It was originally launched in 1996, as a successor of the 222 (introduced in 1977) and the 333. This absolutely stunning perpetual calendar, Ref. 4300V/120R-B547, was launched in 2020. The ultra-thin and highly complicated movement is only 4.05 mm thick for a case thickness of 8.1 mm. It goes without saying that a skeletonized perpetual calendar is nothing short of a technical masterpiece and making it as thin as this demonstrates the finest watchmaking. The dial features a translucent moon phase that is very uncommon. The bracelet and the straps are equipped with an easy-change mechanism that allows the owner to change the look of the watch almost instantly. A highlight of the Important Watches auction on 10 May.
