Manufactured in 1965, this patekphilippe 3rd series reference 2499 features a dial first seen mounted on this reference. There is a partial hallmark between the lugs at 6 o'clock which is stamped in a very similar watch to other 3rd series known, including the pink examples. The dial is still retaining hard enamel scales that are nicely raised and the dial is now portraying a warm ivory patina. Last time the piece appeared in the market was in Sotheby’s New York 2001.
