Journe Tourbillon Souverain. The Tourbillon Souverain collection was introduced in 1999 and has become one of the most iconic watch designs of F.P. Journe. A beauty both mechanically and aesthetically speaking, the watch features a tourbillon movement along with a constant force remointoire - one to balance out the effect of gravity to the movement, the other ensures an even distribution of power to its gears, drastically improving the accuracy of the watch. The present example with a brand new dial layout was introduced in 2007, replacing the Tourbillon Souverain d'Efalite. The text "avec Seconde Morte" can be found at the bottom of the dial.
