Launched in 2006 on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the original Patek Philippe Nautilus, the Ref 5712 has become one of the most sought-after models. The watch combines the utilitarian port hole design with a complicated automatic movement including date, power reserve, phases of the moon and a precious metal constructed case, with a pink gold bezel complimenting the white gold mid-section mounted on an alligator strap and double fold deployant clasp. Originally produced in only 500 examples for the Hong Kong market 2010 and discontinued in 2015, these two tone examples are exceptionally rare.
