#CountdownToTheNewYear: Sold at auction for the first time in our December Important Watches auction in #NYC, this extremely rare Patek Philippe ref 2499 retailed by Tiffany & Co. achieved $818,600 following a bidding battle in our NY salesroom. Produced from 1950 until 1985, Ref. 2499 is recognized as one of the most important wristwatches made by the firm. To the best of our knowledge, this example is only the second known fourth series Ref. 2499 signed by Tiffany.
