The Nautilus is the first “sports watch” released by Patek Philippe. Designed by Gerald Genta in 1976, it has since become a cult classic. In 1981, Patek Philippe came out with the reference 3800, a smaller version of the 3700 measuring 37.5mm across (as opposed to 42mm). Set with 474 8/8 diamonds weighing a total of 2.43 carats, this ref. 3800 in yellow gold from 1991 wears beautifully on any wrist. It is currently on offer in our #Geneva “Watches Weekly” sale, open for bidding until 10 December.
