The Wonder of The Nutcracker comes to Sothebys through a special film collaboration with the acclaimed New York City Ballet (nycballet). On Friday, 4 December at 2pm EST, Sotheby’s will be premiering a short-film inspired by the iconic holiday story and ballet, The Nutcracker. The original work, choreographed by NYCB Soloist and choreographer Peter Walker (peteraltubewalker), will kick off our upcoming luxury sales series, The Festival of Wonder, featuring dedicated auctions of coveted jewels, watches, designer handbags, wine and much more offered across a series of live and online sales throughout December, in addition to more luxury items available through Sotheby’s new Buy Now marketplace, presented in-store and online.
