Founded in 2004, the Swiss independent watchmaker Hautlence (anagram of Neuchatel) draws its inspiration from architectural principles and is dedicated to telling the time differently. Released in an exclusive limited edition of 88 pieces, the present titanium reference HLS07 is numbered 32 and bears the typical Hautlence codes: a rectangular case is sandwiched by 4 screws while the dial shows the three-dimensionality the brand is admired for; the jumping hour mechanism is elegantly displayed with legibility in mind, featuring a magnifying glass above the hour digit. The running seconds are materialized through a revolving disc, while the operating arm is fully exposed, creating a lavish mechanical ballet on the wrist.
