Just a few hours left to bid in our
#London ‘Watches Weekly’ sale which features this Patek Philippe Beta 21 reference 3597/2 from 1974.
Only approximately 50 references 3597/2 were manufactured by Patek Philippe, with fewer than 10 appearing at auction. The watch features the famous Beta-21 movement, which was released in 1969 and resulted from the collaboration of 20 major Swiss watch brands (incl. Patek Philippe) to respond to the advent of quartz watches. The calibre was designed to be accurate to 5 seconds per month
In today’s watch market, the Beta-21 movement has become highly collectable and this piece ticks all the boxes for a connoisseur: it underwent a service at Patek Philippe London in September 2019 and is offered with its original certificate of origin and booklet.
Lot 1207 in our London Watches Weekly sale, closing tomorrow at 10am, it is estimated at £9,000-14,000 and if you swipe left, you’ll see that it looks as great on a man as on a lady.
