Now on view l Abstract by Nature: Paintings from the 1950s to the Present. Inspired by nature in one way or another, the works included in #PHILLIPSX's newest exhibition are an exploration of the purity of color and form in American abstraction from the 1950s Post-War era all the way up to its contemporary iterations. The exhibition includes works from Abstract Expressionism and Color Field Post-War masters such as Jules Olitski, Hans Hoffman, Adolph Gottlieb, and Kenneth Noland, alongside works by Mark Grotjahn, Jennifer Guidi, and Petra Cortright.
