Here it is! A month ago, Ressence and Sotheby’s revealed the winning design of their #WatchesAgainstCovid19 competition - a pastel blue watch signed by English father-of-two Raymond Ramsden. Today, we’re very excited to unveil the completed watch: the unique Type 1 Slim “Ayrton & Finlay”. Fresh off the production line, the pastel blue titanium automatic wristwatch - named after Raymond’s children - will be offered in Sotheby’s Hong Kong ‘Important Watches’ auction on 11 July, with no reserve and an estimate of HKD 150,000 - 300,000 (USD 20,000-40,000). Proceeds from the sale will benefit KU Leuven University’s Covid-19 Research Programme.
