Watches Weekly heads into its second week in Geneva and we are paying tribute to A. Lange & Söhne, led by this incredibly rare and collectible Lange 1 in stainless steel! Officially, the manufacture only released the model in precious metals, and only a few pieces are known to have left the manufacture cased in stainless steel. The Glasshütte company never publicly disclosed the exact number of steel examples, but research suggests the number to be fewer than 30 - all made upon request for important clients or retailers.
