Following the sale of the unique Big Pilot’s Watch worn by Bradley Cooper at the Oscars earlier this year, Sotheby’s and IWCwatches join forces once again this summer to offer an IWC Pilot’s Watch Perpetual Calendar Chronograph Edition “Le Petit Prince” in 18-carat 5N gold. The watch - number 10 in a limited series of 250 pieces - is being sold to benefit the Antoine de Saint-Exupéry Youth Foundation which celebrates its 10th anniversary this year. Estimated at £15,000-30,000, this unique piece with a beige luminescent index at 10 o’clock will highlight Sotheby’s Watches Online sale, open for bidding from 8 until 17 July 2019.
