First designed for the rooms he occupied in his mother’s apartment in the late 1940s, Jean Royère's 'Ours Polaire' sofa became one of his most iconic and sought-after designs. The soft round form, biomorphic style and whimsical aesthetic of 'Ours Polaire' will end our auction season when it goes under the paddle in our Design auction on 17 December.
