#Repost @thehourlounge ____________ Fine and rare 18K Pink gold skeleton minute repeater wristwatch, ref. 30030.

👀 The reference 4261 was originally produced in very small quantities during the early 1940’s. It was firstly considered an “experiment” when Vacheron Constantin managed to house the minute repeating movement in an extremely thin case that measured only 3.28mm thick!
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
👉🏼 Decades later, in 1991, the Maison unveiled the thinnest minute repeating movements of the time. This caliber was such an extraordinary achievement that it was named: 1755, after the founding year of the company. ⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
👨🏻‍🔧 Several versions were produced, using cases with tear-drop lugs and minute repeating movements, such as the one presented here.
Only 200 examples of this caliber were created, most of them housing a more traditional dial (Ref. 30010) and a few others with the skeletonized dial (Ref. 30030) in limited series, in either rose gold or platinum. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀...
