This summer we're bringing the art of sneakers to #PhillipsNY. Join us for tongue + chic, an exhibition of one-of-a-kind sneakers designed by leading artists including Takashi Murakami, KAWS, Kehinde Wiley, Jenny Holzer, Damien Hirst, Shantell Martin and more. Highlighting the exhibition is a pair of sneakers commissioned by tbwachiatny and handcrafted by theshoesurgeon. ‘Unboxed’ in front of millions by kustoo, the sneakers were featured in a high profile anti-slavery campaign on behalf of the thomsonreutersfoundation, and will be exhibited and auctioned online. All proceeds will benefit the Thomson Reuters Foundation’s antislavery initiatives.
