Piero Fornasetti was fascinated with screens—he referred to them as his favorite “children”—and approached them as theatrical curtains that acted as modular pieces of furniture. The 32 panels, previously featured in the home of Sting and Trudie Styler, compose a surrealist landscape of stairways, passageways and ladders, and were envisioned as a space for meditation that could travel with the user.
