LDN - Open door policy: the public viewings for our #ModernMasters #Design Evening & Day Sales, as well as #TimeForDesign (a benefit auction for the new designmuseum), are open today until 6pm. One of our favourites is this unique hand-painted wardrobe by #GioPonti & #PieroFornasetti from 1948. A synthesis of art and architecture from two Milanese masters, #Ponti is present in his treasured diamond pattern leitmotif, and #Fornasetti in his surreal Harlequin embellishments on the interior. Spend some time with this masterpiece before the sale on Wednesday.
