LDN - This rare London sunshine is casting some beautiful shadows in our showrooms today. A precursor to the later, monochrome 'Outrenoir' paintings, 'Peinture 162x130cm, 14 Avril 1962' by #PierreSoulages featured in two of Soulages' most important early retrospectives in Houston and Paris. Seen in stark contrast to its right is a work from only two years later by Italian #MimmoRotella: 'Untitled', 1964. Both hail from our #20thCentury & #ContemporaryArt evening sale on 9 February.
