LDN - The Joinery Appreciation Society: here is a detail of craftsman extraordinaire and enfant terrible #PederMoos' unique dining table designed for the Villa Aubertin, 1952, which will be offered in our #Nordic #Design sale on October 1. A meeting of two phenomenal design minds, the Villa Aubertin, Rosnæs, Nakskov Fjord, was designed and fitted entirely by #FinnJuhl - with the exception of this dining table by Moos. It is said that among his contemporaries, Juhl felt a certain kinship only with Moos; Moos made all his furniture himself, and thus found wood "with such dense and homogenous fibre structure that he produced work more slender than Juhl could ever have dreamed of" (Arne Karlsen).
