On October 26th our life turned upside down. After a highlight in our careers, me stephjohnes and polvo32 with #MayaandTheWave, a World Tour and many exciting festivals ahead for us after 10 plus years of work. Jesus, our cinematographer and co producer suffered a severe brain stroke. For days we thought we lost him. I had never experienced such pain. I turn pain into action. For the last 2 months and for the months to come his recovery is my priority. I will continue to do my best in my own work. May it be surfing, writing, activism, Blue Aya (blueaya.co), Be Aya (beaya.co) and so on… but I ask you to understand this is an unusual time. The hardest I have ever faced. Send me love and pray for him if you can! Be kind to me as sometimes I will be off…So I am ON to ride the biggest wave of our lives. Thanks #TeamPossible, we shine together.
