Ramadan Mubarak! Ramadan is the ninth month of the Islamic calendar, observed by Muslims worldwide as a month of fasting, prayer, reflection and community. This year Ramadan begins the evening of Saturday 2nd April, and lasts until Monday 2nd May. This time is considered an opportunity to engage in charity and devote extra time and attention to spiritual activities, such as praying and reading the Quran.
