"One of the first days coming to campus, before I really knew anyone here, I heard a random knock at the door and was so confused as there was genuinely no one on campus at the time that it could have been. However, I opened the door and my neighbors came to introduce themselves. This experience made me feel warm and welcomed in such a way I never had felt before. We continued to play board games and even watch a movie that night. The fact that students went out of their way to introduce themselves is something that I admired greatly, and this was the first of many times I knew I made the right choice coming to BU."
