#BUFeatureFriday: Myles Standish Hall Myles Standish is BU’s oldest residence hall. In the 1920s, it was one of the finest hotels in Boston and a favorite of many famous baseball players due to its proximity to Fenway Park, including Babe Ruth. Myles Standish features nine floors of double and single rooms in suites for approximately 730 students. It also houses a mailroom, laundry room, bike room, game room, common kitchen, AC, music practice rooms, and more Following renovation during 2016-2018, this hall is designed to reduce water demand by 50% and be 40% more energy efficient than existing code standards.
