Home to more than 1300 undergraduate and 450 graduate students, busargent offers a close-knit, small-college environment in a large, diverse, research university. Professors are supportive and accessible, and have a genuine connection to their students. Sargent faculty include some of the nation’s most respected leaders in health and rehabilitation, including the current chair of the Psychiatric Rehabilitation Foundation, a member of the Auditory System Study Section for the National Institutes of Health Center for Scientific Review, two past American Occupational Therapy Association presidents, and two winners of the Presidential Early Career Award for Scientists and Engineers – as well as leaders in aphasia and Parkinson’s disease research and clinical care.
