She is a Communications Intern at sustainablebu and will be taking over our IG story to talk about their Zero Waste Plan. “Working with BU Sustainability has really opened my eyes to the importance of sustainability in our community, and I am especially proud that BU is taking initiative through the implementation of the Climate Action Plan, Zero Waste Plan, and other goals related to renewable energy and CAP research funding. Right now, we are promoting awareness of the Zero Waste Plan so that we can encourage others to help BU achieve Zero Waste by 2030 and, in turn, our goal of carbon neutrality by 2040. The Zero Waste plan promotes the reduction of indirect emissions through the sustainable purchasing and proper disposal/reuse of our things on a systematic level, but BU will only achieve these goals if everyone chips in and we change our community culture....
