#BUMajorMention: This week, we're highlighting the CGS two-year program within the College of General Studies. bucgs The College of General Studies is a two-year program that offers an interdisciplinary liberal arts education and one global experience. Students begin with a 100-day gap semester in the Fall where they can intern, work, travel, take classes, or pursue a hobby. In January they come to campus in Boston for a semester to begin CGS's interdisciplinary program. Students then spend the summer exploring the heart of London, or can opt for the Boston-New England experience if they prefer. Fun Fact: CGS is the only BU program where study abroad is built into your first year of study.
