I’m proud to report that I was successful at first stage of kornferrytour Q school! The weather was great (super hot), and the course was a fun test. I finally broke through in Round 4, making 7 birdies en route to my T5 finish. But it was far from easy…I had to battle some nagging injuries all week. At the beginning of the week I accidentally cut open my thumb making breakfast for my boys. It was definitely deep enough for stitches and it f*cking hurt like crazy. Constant icing and arnica gel helped me get through it, but there was no shortage of pain and blood stains on the inside of my glove. Also, during round 2, my pinky toe started hurting so much that I was limping the entire back nine. We discovered later I had an ingrown toenail. Thanks to my amazing Doctor wife 😉, she cut it out and it instantly started feeling better. I was also getting adjusted (chiropractic) multiple times throughout the tournament.
