#CubsCollection: The 2020 Season. In a year unlike any other, we witnessed a baseball season unlike any other. After a shutdown due to the COVID-19 pandemic, baseball returned in July for a 60-game sprint and the Cubs were ready. The 2020 season saw breakout performances, big league debuts, career milestones, wacky walk-offs and a no-hitter to boot. The players became each other’s biggest fans, cheering for each other from the dugout. While nothing can compare to 40,000 faithful filling our historic ballpark, the players carried the spirit of Cubs fans throughout the entire season. They banded together to not only accomplish a winning season, but also used their collective voice to bring attention to social injustice, increase voter turnout and encourage proper protocols to slow the spread of COVID-19. They generously donated time, money and their voices to affect change in Chicago and beyond and support front line workers, all while delivering another National League Central Division ...
