#CubsCollection: Wrigley Field Concerts. In 2005, Wrigley Field hosted its first concert when Jimmy Buffett turned the Friendly Confines into a Caribbean getaway. Since then, Wrigley Field has hosted 52 concerts, including world-renowned artists and music legends such as Billy Joel, Bruce Springsteen, Elton John, Paul McCartney, Pearl Jam, Tom Petty, The Police and more. Four concerts have already been announced for 2020 with more to come. Named a top outdoor concert venue by Rolling Stone and Billboard, Wrigley Field will always be the home of the Cubs, but it also is a must-see destination for music lovers.
