A hyper-visual #ShotonRED spot from expedition.studios Director renan_ozturk and sherpascinema director eric_crosland! They went to Costa Rica to execute this ‘sliding carousel’ concept from the Wieden Kennedy agency team. In addition to significant pandemic challenges they shot through the worst weather locals had seen in 6 years of production. In the end this spot was a good example of expedition style tactics put to use - a multi-talented crew working through constant curveballs to achieve a vision. “I started shooting the #REDONE from the beginning in 2010 in the extreme big mountain skiing realm….. so it was a pleasure to shift gears to surf culture. Getting the #KOMODO in a housing was big win for all the underwater work and then the #MONSTRO with some full frame Leica M 0.8 glass was perfect for the technical dolly shots that had to match perfectly for the connected ‘frame sliding’ concept.
