As he belted out his song for all other whales to hear, it touched me on a very deep and personal level to have so much power and intensity reverberating through my entire body while witnessing so much beauty. Here is chapter two of that morning. We observed other singers, mothers and calves and these two whales who were just hanging out. After two weeks of battling strong winds and rough seas, tomconlinadventures put me and mitty in the perfect position. Through special permission from the Government of the Dominican Republic and through Tom’s 30 years of figuring whales out, we were able to have unobtrusive experiences with whales. These visual moments will go on the help in countless campaigns from controlling shipping traffic, whale entanglements, fish farms, plastic pollution, overfishing, MPA's, and more.
