Amazon Studios mandated a 4K 16:9 deliverable which could have been problematic with our choice of anamorphics lenses. However we realised that if we shot 8K on the WEAPON with HELIUM 8K S35 sensor (at a ratio of 6:5) we could still crop the image and deliver 16:9 4K but with all of the lens characteristics we were after. 8K resolution was a creative choice - it allowed us to take a few steps back and use older lenses to warp and bend the image.
