Although sharks and humans sometimes collide with unfortunate results, it’s important to remember these negative encounters are rare and positive shark encounters are much more prevalent! Sharks simply are predators that live in the ocean, they aren’t evil creatures lurking in the depths, just animals doing their best to survive! It’s important to understand that humans are much more dangerous to sharks than sharks are to humans! With continued research efforts and increased education to the public, we can definitely learn to safely coexist and protect both humans and sharks!
