The most important thing about taking on any natural history sequence is to RESEARCH your subject and environment. In this case of working with locust I needed to make sure I had enough batteries to last a few days for both the freeflysystems MoVI and the RED EPIC camera, we never knew if we would have access to power for charging. I also made sure I had UV protectors for each lens as I wanted to get close to the locust and I could not afford any scratches.
