To finish off Student Employee Appreciation Week, we’re headed to the pool! Our Aquatics staff is responsible for ensuring the safety of patrons, responding to any situations or emergencies on the pool deck, and enforcing rules and regulations that keep everyone safe. Willow Candelora, a Head Lifeguard, Swim Instructor, and Health & Safety Instructor, credits Campus Recreation with shaping her college experience and career goals, while allowing her to understand the importance of staying active: “Working at Campus Recreation has played such a huge role in my overall college experience. I’ve had so many opportunities to meet new people and make lifelong friends, as well as get more involved with FSU's campus.” Nothing beats a day at the pool, and we appreciate the student employees who go above and beyond to keep the poolside safe.
