This Day in Labor History: January 11, 1912 Textile workers in Lawrence, Massachusetts learn of a pay cut and march out of the mills. Nearly 300 were arrested and three were killed. Strikers won a 15% wage increase, double pay for overtime work, and no discrimination against striking workers by March 12. #LaborHistory #History #Struggle
