To kick off World Ocean Month, with the support of WSL PURE and @corona, @konservasi_ind and the @surfconservation Partnership (SCP) are working together to support efforts to protect the outstanding ecosystems and waves of G-Land, Indonesia in partnership with Alas Purwo National Park. Aligned with the Quiksilver/ROXY Pro G-Land, together we are: 📚 Delivering conservation and environmental education programming in partnership with local schools and Alas Purwo National Park. 🌊 Leading community youth on environmental education field trips to the mangroves surrounding G-Land. 🌱 Collaborating with @wsl Championship Tour surfers @filipetoledo and @tatiwest on restoration projects by planting the native Sawo Kecil tree, which is important to maintaining healthy coastlines and preventing erosion. 🌏 Educating surfers, fans and community members about the SCP plastic up-cycling system that turns ocean plastic into durable products like tables, chairs, school supplies and more. 🎨 ...
