Following multi-year efforts by Save The Waves, @pronaturanoroeste @bahiadetodossantoswsr and others, the first state park in #BajaCalifornia, #Mexico was officially approved on Friday, September 17th 🙌 This #park will provide long-lasting protection for the iconic #SanMiguel wave, alongside 67 hectares of greenspace 🌿 This incredible initiative was achieved with the support of our #Coalition, fantastic local partners in Mexico - special thanks to STW Protected Area Manager @maraarroyo 👏👏 Celebrate this victory with us by also signing the #weareoneocean petition to help elevate ocean protection!
