We haven't done a "From the Brewhouse" post in a while so let's rectify that. Yesterday Chadillac brewed a batch of our Little Red Cap Düsseldorf-style Alt Bier. Alt means "old" in German and refers to the fact that this style continued to be brewed with ale yeast long after most German breweries had switched to lager yeast, thus being brewed the "old" (alt) way. This beautifully balanced beer is our most award winning brew with 7 medals across GABF, U.S. Open Beer Championship, and World Beer Cup.
