The first in a series of special release beers: Amburana Aged Little Red Cap. We took 2 barrels of our 7-time medal winning Düsseldorf Style Alt Bier and aged it on Amburana wood. Amburana is also known as Brazilian oak. It is a wood commonly associated with the aging of a Brazilian spirit, Cachaça, a sugarcane spirit similar to rum. Amburana lends sweet and savory flavors of cinnamon, gingerbread, and vanilla to the already delicious Little Red Cap.
