Today’s release in our 10 Years - 10 Beers series isn’t even a beer at all. It is a Riesling Schorle Hard Seltzer. The Germans are fond of mixing soda water with wine and fruit juices to make a schorle. There are lots of Riesling grapes grown in the wine country around the Rhine River and they love a Riesling Weinschorle. Laura made this seltzer with Riesling grape juice to mimic this right out of the tap. It is crisp and delicious but weighs in at a healthy 7.5% ABV.
