Cincy Talks v5 - Streetcar Did you know Cincinnati began constructing a subway system in the early 1900s? Unfortunately, due to funding issues and inflation, construction came to a halt in the late 1920s. What would have been Cincinnati’s largest public transportation project is now the largest abandoned subway system in the Unites States. Thankfully, we now have The Connector (@connector_cincy) - an electric-powered streetcar. The Connector is a free and convenient way to loop to and from OTR, The Banks, and everywhere between.
