Wedding traditions, family dynamics, cultural idiosyncrasies—nothing was off limits for Kumar at his Kalaa Utsavam debut, The Great Indian Mix, produced by Manjula Balakrishnan. Known for his no-holds-barred jokes, one of Singapore’s best-known comedians put a distinctly Indian twist on his usual stand-up comedy set on 24 Nov, with an additional show on 25 Nov due to popular demand. Complete with a dance performance alongside royalusion and contributions from Sharul Channa, Vadi PVSS and Jaya Rathakrishnan, Kumar’s performance delighted fans both new and old, Indian and otherwise.
