[People of da:ns] Rianto, Choreographer and dancer I would like to express my sincerest gratitude to Jala Adolphus and Faith Tan for presenting Softmachine: Rianto. Because of this, I was introduced to Farooq Chaudhry from Akram Khan Dance Company, which led to Until The Lions (2016) that was presented more than 100 times internationally. I was proud that I could invite my mother over to Singapore to watch the show. This was my biggest dream and to be able to achieve it was beyond words. In 2018, together with friends, Cahwati, Garin Nugroho Riyanto, Iskandar K Loedin and the da:ns festival team, we presented my original work, Medium, at the Esplanade Theatre Studio.
