Today we celebrate the Feast of St. Rose Philippine Duchesne. In her chapel reflection, Ms. Kenney explained, “Duchesne in French means ‘of oak,’ and Philippine is often depicted in artwork alongside oak leaves and trees. In her mind, her acts were but small seeds, like an acorn. Now we know the seeds that she planted blossomed into an international community committed to educating generations of young girls to be women of purpose, character, and empathy.” Girls were invited to write down what they need to let go of to trust in God’s plan on oak leaves made out of paper.
