Grade 8 girls tested their cars today in preparation for the Car Egg-stravaganza tomorrow. This annual event is the first major #engineering project of the year at the end of the Motion and Forces unit. In teams of two or three, girls apply the concepts from physical science to construct a car (using limited materials) that carries an uncooked egg at least 8 meters in a 2 meter lane without it breaking. #NCDS #MiddleSchool #science #physicalscience #sacredheartschool
