Grade 8 girls tested their cars this morning in preparation for the Car Egg-stravaganza exhibition. This annual event is the first major engineering project of the year at the end of the Motion and Forces unit. A hands-on challenge that allows the girls to apply the concepts from the physical science curriculum, the goal is to construct a car that carries an uncooked egg at least 8 meters without breaking. #NCDS #courageandconfidence #MiddleSchool #STEM #science #physicalscience #engineering
