Change. Change can be so scary. But sometimes, it's necessary if you want to grow. If you told me that I would be making TWO of these announcements in the same year I would have told you you're nuts. But the reality is that when I joined E&V in July I did so with the intention of building a team. Going all the way back to my start in 2008 I've either been on a team or led one every place I have gone in this business. And truthfully, I can say with sincerity: it's never once worked out. All I have managed to do each time is to successfully build someone else's dream, while sacrificing the bandwidth I should be spending staying meaningfully connected to my client's and communities. This epiphany intersected at the same time that I came to terms with the awareness that I need to bet on myself for once and just believe that I can be successful without anyone as a security blanket.
