#WhyIRelayWednesday πŸ’œπŸŽ— "Hey everyone! My name is Sara Pacini and I relay for my mom, Amy Pacini, who is now 6 years cancer-free. Growing up and having the strongest, most hard-working, beautiful, and healthiest person in your life get diagnosed with colorectal cancer makes you question a lot. Luckily through surgery and chemotherapy, my mother won her battle, but many are not as lucky. For that reason, I plan on continuing to relay at UNC Chapel Hill, where I am pursuing my Ph.D. in Pharmacology to work towards drug advancements for things such as chemo and hormone therapies. I know with the strength from my mother I can continue to spread her light and bravery to many others working to battle cancer. I love you forever Mom, let’s fight until we find a cure." -Sara Pacini, Greek Relations Committee Member
